Legendary DJ and Producer Pete Rock has just confirmed that he will play at Highlife Entertainment’s Matakana New Years Eve event. Pete Rock as we all know is one of the most legendary and prolific producers of all time and this will be his first New Zealand show ever. Following on the success of last years event, Highlife have upped the anti in 2009 signing bigger international artists such as Sneaky Sound System and including even more acts to the already busy line-up to perform on 8 stages around the Matakana Country Park.
There have been rumours of another big hip hop act, which have not yet been confirmed, but we’ll keep you posted.
